During my career in the Chemical Industry, I was a plant manager for Ashland Chemical and responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, the many environmental / governmental issues and the profitability of the operation. A significant amount of my time was interacting with spent interacting with customers to identify specific needs and implementing plans of action to resolve problems. This was a rewarding experience and I left the company on excellent terms in order to pursue a career more closely related to helping families achieve their dreams of home ownership.
Previous to Ashland, I worked 18 years with Sartomer Company, I was promoted several times - finishing up in distribution and logistics. Again, a significant amount of my responsibility was satisfying customer / employee needs and implementing effective plans to obtain those goals. I left on excellent terms to take a position as a Plant Manager with more responsibility and greater opportunities.
